Logistics Engineering Coordinator

About the role

As a Logistics Engineering Coordinator at Volvo Trucks Technology and Industrial, you will lead the transformation of daily logistics operations at the Curitiba site, ensuring seamless material flow from receiving to point of use for trucks, buses and cabs. You will manage a multidisciplinary team of analysts and engineers to drive efficiency, cost reduction and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives for logistics processes, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Support new product launches, engineering changes and production ramp‑up from a logistics perspective.
• Design warehouse and material‑handling layouts to maximize storage utilization.
• Collaborate with production, material supply, quality and manufacturing engineering to resolve material shortages and quality issues.
• Lead, coach and develop internal logistics and warehouse teams, fostering a safety‑first, inclusive culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Production, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in internal logistics, warehouse management or supply‑chain operations within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
• Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and methods.
• Demonstrated leadership in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
• Advanced analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).
