Manufacturing Engineer – Remote, $20‑$40/hr

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our remote team on an hourly contract basis. You will work closely with AI and data teams to improve the understanding of manufacturing processes and ensure high‑quality datasets for model training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert insights to enhance AI model comprehension of manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and refine manufacturing datasets.
• Analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose optimization opportunities.
• Validate AI‑generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, and industry compliance.
• Document process improvements, technical knowledge, and workflow adjustments.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles and process‑optimization techniques to improve data quality.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Strong experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and quality control.
• Familiarity with manufacturing compliance standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Technical expertise in manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting, and process documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
