Manufacturing Manager – FMCG Production

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) production site. You will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient and cost‑effective manufacturing while upholding the highest standards of quality, compliance and service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, safety and cost targets.
• Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer demand and business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality regulations.
• Monitor plant performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Manage and develop operations teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Oversee budget control, labour productivity, inventory optimisation and cost management.
• Support capital projects, process upgrades and equipment enhancements.
• Promote strong people leadership, coaching, succession planning and employee engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience with leadership responsibility in the FMCG sector.
• Proven experience in a multinational company environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, health & safety and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high‑volume, fast‑moving manufacturing teams.
• Experience managing KPIs, budgets, cost control and operational performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related field preferred.
