Medical Doctor – Clinical & Regulatory Lead

About the role

Gene Solutions is seeking a qualified Medical Doctor to support its expanding portfolio of genetic testing and precision medicine solutions. The role combines clinical expertise, regulatory guidance, and medical communication to strengthen the company’s brand and ensure compliance across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑ and post‑test counselling and cascade test results to patients and clinicians.
• Lead clinical trial activities in Brazil and act as a medical advisor for business development.
• Assess medical, regulatory and compliance risks of company policies and support implementation of corrective actions.
• Support advisory board meetings, speaker programs, and review marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
• Develop and deliver product knowledge training, customer engagement initiatives, and patient support programs.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and communications required for medical projects and sales‑marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor degree, preferably with specialization in Oncology, Genetics or a related therapeutic area.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical‑device or laboratory environments.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic area, regulatory requirements and evidence‑based medicine.
• Excellent communication, critical‑thinking and public‑speaking abilities in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic area regulations and compliance processes.
• Experience with clinical trial oversight and medical project management.
