Mid-level Software Engineer (Payments Platform)

About the role
EBANX is looking for a mid‑level software engineer to help maintain and evolve its high‑throughput payments platform that processes millions of transactions daily. You will join a team of experienced developers and collaborate across product, finance, risk and business development to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Write, test and document code in an incremental, agile manner.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and assist teammates with complex design decisions.
- Continuously deploy and monitor code in production.
- Develop internal tools that improve team efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners on strategic projects.
- Contribute to the evolution and future direction of the payments platform.
Required profile
- Proven experience designing, implementing and deploying software solutions.
- Strong interest in data structures, concurrency, persistence and distributed systems.
- Expertise with Git or another collaborative version‑control system.
- Clear vision for software quality, system evolution and problem decomposition.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, languages and engineering practices.
