Mobile Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to join a fast‑scaling fintech platform serving millions of users. The role focuses on building and enhancing a React Native mobile application that powers shopping and financial services. The position is fully remote and based in Brazil.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross‑platform features in a React Native mobile app, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to translate requirements into high‑impact mobile functionality.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions, contributing best practices for mobile development.
• Support large‑scale product releases by coordinating with multiple engineering teams and maintaining platform stability.
• Write clean, testable code, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
• Assist in planning, estimating, and delivering tasks aligned with product road‑maps.
• Continuously explore improvements in mobile performance, usability, and new product areas.

Required profile

• Proven software engineering experience with a focus on mobile or frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and hands‑on experience with React Native (React web experience a plus).
• Solid understanding of modern frontend principles and mobile application architecture.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with automated testing (unit, integration, end‑to‑end).
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language models (e.g., Claude) to boost development productivity.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a mindset of ownership and accountability.
