Node Developer – Remote

About the role

INDI is looking for a seasoned Node Developer to join its fully remote engineering team. You will help shape backend architecture, deliver new features quickly, and contribute to a high‑performing, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain backend systems using micro‑service patterns and cloud platforms.
• Design, extend, and implement robust APIs.
• Develop new features rapidly while ensuring code quality.
• Collaborate across functional teams in a fast‑paced early‑stage startup setting.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and monitor analytics.
• Automate workflows and build tools to boost engineering productivity.
• Define processes for product launches and releases.
• Participate in technical interviews to grow the engineering team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience building Node.js applications.
• Strong command of English (advanced level).
• Proven ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
