Occitan Language Specialist – AI Trainer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a fluent Occitan language specialist to help train large‑scale AI models. Working remotely, you will use cutting‑edge annotation tools to improve the quality and cultural relevance of AI‑generated Occitan text.

Key responsibilities

• Review, annotate, and edit Occitan content for training datasets.
• Assess AI‑generated outputs for grammatical accuracy, fluency, and cultural appropriateness.
• Identify recurring error patterns and document them for model improvement.
• Collaborate with engineers and linguists to refine prompts, evaluation methods, and linguistic guidelines.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in Occitan.
• Professional experience in translation, linguistics, language teaching, editing, or related fields.
• Experience with linguistic annotation, training, or coaching is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and deep cultural knowledge of Occitan‑speaking regions.
