Ocean Customer Experience Specialist

About the role

Join Maersk’s Global Service Center in Mexico City as an Ocean Customer Experience Specialist. You will be the front‑line voice for our customers, handling inbound and outbound calls to resolve last‑mile delivery issues and ensure a seamless logistics experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide world‑class, multichannel customer service via phone, email and chat.
• Handle an average of 60 inbound/outbound calls per day.
• Resolve last‑mile delivery problems with empathy and effective communication.
• Coordinate information flow between customers, delivery teams, stores and warehouses.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and update Excel reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a contact‑center, freight forwarder or customs brokerage environment.
• English proficiency at B1‑B2 level.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage time, and stay self‑motivated.
• Customer‑focused mindset with stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with ERP systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
