Operations Manager

About the role

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager for its new Fulfillment Center in Nova Santa Rita, RS. The role oversees all warehouse processes for a designated shift or multiple shifts, ensuring safety, quality, performance, and an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Area Managers, Team Leaders, and hourly associates.
• Develop and execute staffing plans, schedules, and quality initiatives.
• Drive process‑improvement and Six Sigma projects to meet business goals.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, and IT to secure resources for initiatives.
• Implement change, develop new processes, and participate in cross‑functional improvement projects.
• Mentor, train, and develop direct reports for career progression.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience managing teams in a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in Portuguese and English.
• Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts.
