Ops Area Manager – Inbound & ICQA

About the role

Amazon is looking for an Inbound and ICQA Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates in a Fulfilment Center. You will be responsible for ensuring safe operations, inventory integrity, and quality assurance while supporting the company’s customer‑obsessed culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise hourly associates in Inventory Control and Quality Assurance operations.
• Champion safety initiatives and maintain full compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate inventory maintenance, random counts, and ensure SOX compliance.
• Measure quality and inventory accuracy, providing actionable feedback to operations management.
• Plan shifts, forecast workload, and assign tasks effectively.
• Identify root causes of inventory deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Drive network‑wide quality initiatives and analyze customer complaints to develop action plans.
• Promote process improvements and develop team capabilities.
• Appraise performance, deliver coaching, and recognize achievements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Fluent in Portuguese (read, write, speak).
• Proven experience leading teams.
