OT Cybersecurity Technical Architect

About the role

The OT Cybersecurity Technical Architect will design and implement the technical components of our cybersecurity strategy for renewable energy production. You will create secure OT systems, define network architectures, and ensure alignment with corporate IT policies and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement OT cybersecurity architectures tailored for renewable energy operations.
• Design secure, scalable network architectures for SCADA, ICS, and IoT environments.
• Configure and supervise firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners in OT settings.
• Monitor and respond to OT security incidents in collaboration with incident response teams.
• Work with engineering, operations, IT, and GRC teams to embed security throughout the OT asset lifecycle.
• Provide training and awareness programs for staff handling OT systems.
• Engage with external vendors to ensure secure deployment of third‑party OT solutions.
• Lead pilot projects and proof‑of‑concept initiatives for emerging cybersecurity technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 2 years focused on OT environments.
• Deep knowledge of OT protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC, and MQTT.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK for ICS.
• Experience in renewable energy or other critical infrastructure sectors is a plus.
• Professional certifications (CISSP, GICSP, CISM) preferred.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; willing to travel internationally.
