Plant Operations Lead – Sumaré, Brazil

About the role

3M is seeking a Plant Operations Lead for its Sumaré, Brazil facility. The role is responsible for ensuring environmental health and safety (EHS) is the top priority while delivering products on schedule, within quality standards and cost targets. You will lead operational excellence, drive continuous improvement and manage budgets for the assigned area.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a strong EHS culture and make safety the first priority across the plant.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities to meet schedule, quality, cost, warehouse and logistics objectives.
• Lead systematic operational maturity improvements, including productivity, quality, OEE, PPU and COPQ initiatives.
• Implement and sustain daily tier processes, standard work, visual controls and material flow.
• Deploy technology such as data automation, digital tier and Dozuki to improve efficiency.
• Oversee training, onboarding and development to build flexible production resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience in managing multiple complex value streams or manufacturing operations.
• Strong coaching, collaboration and principle‑based communication skills.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
