Procurement and Facility Manager – Operations & Site Procurement

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Procurement and Facility Manager to act as the bridge between Global Procurement and site leadership at a fulfillment center. You will own procurement responsibilities, manage vendor relationships, and lead a team handling non‑inventory materials in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a non‑inventory team responsible for material receipt and packaging supplies.
• Serve as the procurement subject‑matter expert, providing strategic guidance and operational excellence.
• Control inventory and packaging material forecasting, and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Lead local vendor negotiations, manage contracts, and ensure SLA compliance through KPI monitoring.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process and partner with Finance on budgets and performance metrics.
• Track and report cost‑saving and avoidance initiatives.
• Manage facilities services contracts such as janitorial and utilities.
• Collaborate with the Global Procurement Organization and conduct regular vendor performance reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Fluent in spoken, written and read English.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with ability to analyze data using pivots and V‑Lookups.
• Management experience, including coaching and performance management.
• Experience in labor planning and employee performance coaching is a plus.
