Production Assistant

About the role

Greif, a global leader in performance packaging, is hiring a Production Assistant (Auxiliar de Produção) in Santo Amaro. The position involves operating routine production machinery and producing parts within established specifications and tolerances.

Key responsibilities

• Operate routine production machinery according to the prints and specifications provided.
• Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure compliance with function, quality and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced and report errors leading to rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment before use for proper setup and alignment, perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Keep the work area clean, safe and orderly and follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Fundamental understanding of, or quick ability to learn, production equipment.
