About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic English teacher to join our secondary/high school programme at Colégio Progresso Bilíngue – Cambuí. The role involves developing curriculum, delivering engaging lessons, and preparing students for exams and further education.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans tailored for secondary/high school students, ensuring alignment with academic standards.
• Deliver engaging and effective instruction that fosters student participation and deep understanding of English language concepts.
• Assess and monitor student learning and progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely feedback.
• Prepare students for examinations and post‑secondary education pathways, supporting their academic goals.

Required profile

• Hold a degree in education or a related field, demonstrating a solid academic foundation.
• Possess a valid teaching certification appropriate for secondary/high school instruction.
• Have proven experience teaching secondary/high school students, showcasing classroom expertise.

Required skills

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in English language and literature.
• Excellent classroom management and communication abilities to maintain a productive learning environment.
