About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Mathematics Professor to plan, deliver, and assess mathematics lessons for students at Colégio Progresso Bilíngue. The role involves classroom teaching, student support, and collaboration with the academic and psychology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance, share plans with the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator, and prepare necessary teaching materials.
• Maintain up‑to‑date grade books, enter grades promptly, and design monthly assessments for each topic.
• Supervise playground duties, support students with academic or behavioral issues, and collaborate with the Psychology Department for special‑needs learners.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, parent conferences, and school events while adhering to the established schedule.
• Promote open communication with students and parents, encourage involvement in school activities, and record daily attendance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in digital tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
