Program Manager, Transportation Network Losses

About the role

Amazon is looking for a results‑oriented Program Manager to lead Transportation Network Losses and Last Mile Reverse Operations. The role focuses on protecting the customer experience while reducing financial losses across Amazon’s transportation network.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end network loss process improvement at the country level.
• Analyze process deviations and develop strategies to minimize losses.
• Partner with the central Network Losses team to implement technology enablement, metric standardisation and review mechanisms.
• Monitor loss performance metrics (shrinkage, damages, DNR, MDR) and conduct root‑cause analyses.
• Lead Kaizen events, root‑cause analysis sessions and define site‑specific corrective actions.
• Own and optimise the Unified Reverse Logistics (URL) process at Last Mile delivery stations.
• Monitor and optimise FC handoff losses in the reverse leg and drive loss reduction through compliance monitoring.
• Act as primary point of contact for Transportation Network Losses and LM Reverse Logistics at country level, representing the program in leadership reviews.
• Drive weekly/monthly performance reviews with cross‑functional stakeholders and ensure clear escalation paths.
• Quantify financial impact of initiatives, tracking savings and cost avoidance against P&L targets.

• Highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong analytical mindset.
• Proven ability to deliver data‑driven insights and implement scalable process improvements.
• Experience leading high‑impact initiatives in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment.
• Excellent collaboration skills with stakeholders such as Transportation, Loss Prevention, Finance and Customer Service.
