Project & Construction Manager – Food Industry Expansion

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project & Construction Manager to lead the expansion of a food production facility, scaling capacity three‑fold across sites in Belgium and Brazil. The role combines engineering support, on‑site construction management, and cross‑regional stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage local subcontractors on‑site in Brazil and Belgium.
• Request, evaluate, and compare supplier quotations.
• Support the engineering phase by creating machine layouts, preparing I/O lists, and reviewing power requirements.
• Provide hands‑on assistance during the execution phase when needed.
• Ensure smooth collaboration between stakeholders across both countries.

Required profile

• Proactive, hands‑on professional with a strong sense of ownership.
• Proven experience in project and construction management.
• Mandatory experience in the food industry.
• Fluency or good proficiency in Portuguese.
• Multidisciplinary technical background (mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, automation).
