Project Manager – 5G Network & ICT Projects

About the role

China Mobile International Brazil is looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of 5G network and ICT projects. The role combines project coordination, technical support and on‑site troubleshooting to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external resources for construction, operation and maintenance of 5G service support systems.
• Organise system construction, acceptance, optimisation, expansion and monitoring of 5G IP Transmission network components (IPRAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
• Research key technologies, design solutions and define protocols for 5G integration.
• Plan, design and guarantee operation of 5G enterprise private networks.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet timelines and provide technical guidance to customers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve on‑site issues, and document procedures.
• Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years experience in network maintenance for a service provider.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving abilities and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• 5G IP Transmission network (IPRAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
• Datacom & Optical technologies for MPLS and OTN backbone.
• Datacenter IT infrastructure: x86/ARM/MIPS servers, hypervisors, FC, distributed storage, hyper‑convergence, VxLAN, MSP, network security, multi‑site HA, disaster recovery, DCI.
• Network security systems, national security regulations and standards.
• 5G fundamentals: RAN, MEC/UPF, lightweight 5GC, front/mid/back‑haul technologies.
• Telecommunications core networks, telecom clouds, 5GC/EPC/IMS.
