Project Manager – Lead Projects and Deliver Results

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead projects across the energy value chain. You will act as the primary customer contact, manage project budgets, and ensure delivery aligns with company standards and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, handling technical and commercial issues, providing progress updates, and negotiating contractual variations.
• Collaborate with the Project Management, ITO, and Sourcing teams to develop project budgets, clarify assumptions, and ensure consistent proposals.
• Define execution strategies, monitor project costs, cash flow, and profit margins, and address payment issues.
• Identify and mitigate risks in partnership with Risk Management and other departments throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate project records, capture lessons learned, and contribute to future proposals.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing complex projects within the energy or technology sectors.
• Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to work proactively, identify communication gaps, and drive solutions.
• Commitment to HSE standards and quality compliance.
