Project Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Team Leader with strong technical project management capabilities. The role will ensure efficient operation of cross‑functional engineering teams while supporting project governance, financial awareness, and delivery predictability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day project management across engineering teams, handling scope, schedule, budget, risks and governance.
• Coordinate technical workstreams, capturing decisions, dependencies and impacts in plans and milestones.
• Run lean delivery cadences (stand‑ups, technical huddles, integration checkpoints) to unblock builds, interfaces and testing.
• Align sprints and tasks with validated technical outcomes, maintaining readiness gates for builds, testing and commissioning.
• Manage risk, capacity and financial tracking, including effort burn, utilization, forecasts and escalation paths.
• Enable engineering teams by removing obstacles, minimizing external distractions and fostering a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in software development projects across the full lifecycle.
• Proven experience managing technical projects in industrial environments such as automation, OT/IT, digitalization, energy, Oil & Gas or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated project‑management expertise, including risk management, cost tracking and multi‑team coordination.
• Experience applying Agile methods and solving integration challenges in complex technical projects.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution and servant‑leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multicultural, distributed teams.
• Advanced English proficiency; certifications such as PMP, IPMA, Scrum Master or Product Owner are a plus.
