About the role
Applus IDIADA is seeking a Junior Product Designer specialized in Siemens NX to support automotive product development. The role involves creating and refining interior, exterior, and body-in-white sheet‑metal components while ensuring compliance with design criteria.
Key responsibilities
- Develop automotive product parts, focusing on interior, exterior, and BIW/sheet‑metal designs.
- Apply package analysis and design criteria throughout the development process.
- Produce detailed engineering drawings.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Required profile
- Technical education in a related field (e.g., Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Plastics, Tooling, Molds) – preferred.
- Interest in building a career in the automotive sector and working with technical drawings.
- Advanced English proficiency – preferred.
Required skills
- Experience with automotive product development using Siemens NX (preferred).
- Knowledge of PLM systems such as TeamCenter (preferred).
