Public Sector Account Executive - Brasilia

About the role

Elastic, the Search AI company, is looking for a Public Sector Account Executive to drive net-new revenue and expansion within government accounts centered in Brasilia, Brazil. You will be the primary owner of a strategic federal and public sector territory, building your own pipeline and communicating the Elastic Search AI value proposition to government stakeholders, across net-new logos and the installed base, in a consumption-based cloud model.

Key responsibilities

• Own the territory and build a proactive outbound pipeline, generating at least 50% of booked opportunities through community, customer and partner ecosystems.
• Uncover mission pains, budgets and decision criteria using frameworks such as MEDDPICC to manage high-confidence pipeline.
• Deliver tailored demos mapping Elastic's Search AI, Observability and Security capabilities to government priorities and citizen services.
• Build formal close plans with stakeholders and maintain 90%+ forecast accuracy within +/- 10%.
• Negotiate complex procurement processes and secure multi-year consumption and project commitments.
• Drive complex projects into new government logos and expand usage in the installed base.
• Work with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing and channel partners to accelerate deals.

Required profile

• 5+ years closing complex Enterprise/Public Sector deals, consistently over quota in SaaS, cloud or consumption-based environments.
• Track record of selling projects to new government logos and growing existing accounts.
• Deep knowledge of Brazilian government procurement, budget cycles, RFIs/RFPs and decision-making.
• Native or fluent Portuguese with professional English.
• Located in Brasilia, Brazil.

Required skills

• MEDDPICC or equivalent qualification framework.
• Enterprise Search, SIEM/XDR, Observability (APM/metrics), Vector/AI Search and cloud platforms.
