Quality Analyst – Software Testing

About the role

This position focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software systems. You will design and maintain test plans, execute functional and non‑functional tests, and support automation across multiple environments while collaborating with agile development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases.
• Create and manage both manual and automated test scripts, ensuring consistent execution and reporting.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, acceptance, performance, and non‑functional testing.
• Build and maintain test data, mocks, stubs, simulators, and testing environments.
• Monitor test coverage, identify defects, and link them to requirements and artifacts.
• Support user acceptance testing and collaborate with business and development teams during validation cycles.
• Apply BDD, ATDD, and Specification by Example methodologies in test design.
• Evaluate system performance, security risks (including OWASP guidelines), and reliability.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent postgraduate specialization.
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing, including functional and non‑functional testing.
• Relevant certifications such as CTFL, ISTQB Agile Tester, or CBTS.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to work across technical and business teams.
