Quality and Process Specialist – Latin America & Caribbean

About the role

The Quality & Process Specialist for Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) will ensure project quality across the region by driving structured problem resolution, root‑cause analysis, document control, and process standardisation. The role works closely with Product Management, Fulfilment, After‑Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Global Quality to capture organisational learning and support the development of a regional Quality Management System based on ISO 9001.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project quality issues in the LAC region, including customer complaints, non‑conformances, RCA and CAPA activities.
• Support field investigations and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Maintain document‑control processes for procedures, templates and technical documentation.
• Capture lessons learned and promote process standardisation across projects and departments.
• Assist in implementing the LAC Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001 principles.
• Act as the quality focal point between Product Management, Fulfilment, After‑Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Global Quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, electrical, industrial engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality, process management, project quality or continuous improvement.
• Experience with structured problem‑solving methods such as RCA, 8D, CAPA, 5 Why, Ishikawa and optionally FMEA.
• Proven experience in document control and process management.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Background in project‑based environments, industrial equipment, renewable energy, manufacturing or capital‑goods industries.
• Advanced English required; Spanish highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel when necessary.
