Quality Control Intern

About the role

Join HMH as a Quality Control Intern and support the assurance of quality for all supplier documentation, both internal and external. You will work closely with internal customers and suppliers to ensure that product and process documentation meets the company’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and review documentation received from suppliers.
• Record, track, and follow up on non‑conformance reports (NCRs) for products or processes.
• Suggest and implement improvements to documentation and quality processes when applicable.
• Review supplier documentation and equipment data books for accuracy.
• Issue product or service certificates and reject non‑conforming documents.
• Authorize work stoppage when uncontrolled health or safety risks are identified.

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in Metallurgical, Materials, Mechanical, Automation or Production Engineering.
• Intermediate level English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, health, environment and quality standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to assess and review technical documentation.
• Clear and effective communication with internal customers.
