Quality Senior Manager – Latin America

About the role

This senior regional position leads quality strategy across Latin America for a highly regulated, multi‑site organization. Based in Brazil, you will ensure product integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across manufacturing, laboratory, and distribution sites.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the regional quality strategy, aligning with global standards.
• Act as the primary authority for quality risks, major events, and regulatory interactions.
• Oversee Quality Management Systems (QMS) compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, GMP and internal policies.
• Drive audit readiness and manage responses to internal, external, customer and regulatory audits.
• Lead investigations of incidents, non‑conformances, recalls and customer complaints, coordinating corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure supplier quality through risk assessment and collaboration with global supply chain teams.
• Deploy global quality initiatives locally, adapting them to regional needs.
• Promote continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma and data‑driven methods.
• Develop and mentor regional quality teams, handling talent development and succession planning.
• Approve new product introductions, technology transfers and major process changes for the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Life Sciences, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance or manufacturing within regulated industries.
• 5+ years of leadership or people‑management experience in a multi‑site or regional context.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, audit processes and regulatory frameworks (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, GMP).
