Regional Controller Finance Manager

About the role

The Regional Controller Finance Manager acts as a strategic business advisor to the unit leader, supporting plants and SG&A cost centers. This senior finance professional drives decision‑making, cost‑reduction initiatives and ensures robust financial governance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and direct forecasting, budgeting and LRFP processes in a repetitive manufacturing environment.
• Maintain the approved local capital plan and manage month‑end closing in a standard‑cost setting.
• Provide commercial decision support, including cost estimates, quotations, make‑vs‑make/buy analysis and new‑business opportunity assessments.
• Ensure statutory compliance, oversee external audits, and manage local tax filings.
• Hire, train, coach and mentor finance staff; address performance issues and align resources with shared services.
• Implement and monitor productivity and cost‑reduction initiatives, financial controls and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
• Manage the business‑unit balance sheet, cash flows, inventory valuation, labor costing models and ABC profitability analysis.
• Support M&A due diligence, cash management and local debt compliance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive financial management experience in manufacturing.
• Background in public accounting or auditing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Proven ability to communicate with all management levels and lead finance teams.
