Regional HSE Manager

About the role

The Regional HSE Manager will lead health, safety, security and environmental initiatives for Oceaneering's operations in the Macae region. You will partner with division leaders to ensure a safe workplace and foster a culture of proactive risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Guide operations in identifying, understanding, and mitigating HSSE risks.
• Educate, mentor and develop direct reports and the broader workforce on HSSE best practices.
• Verify compliance with laws, regulations, customer requirements and OII policies through audits, assessments and inspections.
• Participate in project planning to capture HSSE requirements early.
• Collect, trend and report HSSE data, including near‑hits and incidents.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation.
• Develop HSSE schedules, budgets and track corrective actions to completion.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure two‑way communication and lesson sharing.

Required profile

• Advanced/Fluent English.
• Degree in Health, Safety or Environmental field; postgraduate studies in Safety Engineering are a plus.
• Extensive experience in HSSE management or supervisory roles within the industry.

• ISO Certifications compliance.
