Regional Sales Director – South America

About the role

The Regional Sales Director for South America will lead Allison’s commercial operations across Brazil, Argentina and Colombia. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening customer partnerships and executing long‑term regional strategies. This high‑visibility position requires a dynamic leader who can inspire teams and collaborate with global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the South America commercial organization and achieve revenue targets.
• Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with OEMs, distributors, dealers and industry partners.
• Enhance customer satisfaction and expand Allison’s market position.
• Recruit, develop, coach and retain high‑performing sales teams.
• Manage the regional budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Drive adoption of digital sales tools, CRM processes and commercial‑excellence practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders to shape policies and business priorities.
• Represent Allison at strategic customer engagements and industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience leading sales teams in the commercial‑vehicle or automotive sector.
• Proven track record developing and executing strategic business plans.
• Strong leadership, coaching and organizational‑development capabilities.
• Experience managing complex customer relationships and regional operations.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout South America.
