Remote Account Manager – Client Success for SMBs

About the role

OneLocal is seeking a remote Account Manager to own the success of a high‑volume portfolio of small‑ and medium‑size business clients. You will act as the primary point of contact, driving growth, retention, and platform adoption for over 100 local businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage a portfolio of 100+ SMB clients, aiming for a strong net retention rate.
• Lead regular strategic business reviews to showcase ROI and align solutions with client goals.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Implementation Specialists, Digital Marketing Experts, and Marketing Strategists to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Identify churn risks or technical obstacles early and implement corrective actions.
• Champion the OneLocal platform, encouraging full utilization and turning clients into brand advocates.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Client Success Manager or Account Manager in a SaaS, marketing agency, or tech‑startup environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of SMB clients.
• Customer‑centric mindset with a proven track record of building long‑term relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptable, fast‑paced work style and willingness to question the status quo.
• High level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
