Sales Assistant – Pacific Islands (Bilingual French)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Sales Assistant to join our diverse team. The role combines administrative, operational and customer‑service duties, covering business set‑up, company and client communications, web administration, commercial interface and logistics support for the Pacific Islands region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and distribute weekly sales and market reports to sellers and buyers, highlighting gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Update daily market reports (USDA, UB) and manage pricing adjustments for formula business.
• Enter and maintain intercompany orders in the system, ensuring accurate information for all related entities.
• Communicate export cargo status, send weekly shipping schedules, shipment advice and container tracking updates to customers.
• Monitor and push sellers/buyers on out‑of‑contract orders to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong sense of urgency.
• Proactive problem‑solving, analytical mindset and ability to prioritize tasks.
• University degree in business, administration or related field; 1‑3 years experience in logistics, operations or international commerce.
• Understanding of international trade, Incoterms and ocean shipping documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as a flexible team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use various business software.
