Security Analyst – SOC Operations (Remote, Brazil)

About the role

The Security Analyst will support day‑to‑day SOC operations, handling both cyber and physical security tasks. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of the Security Operations Center, the role is based in Brazil and can be performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze cyber security alerts from tools such as Bitdefender and Exabeam SIEM, performing initial triage and response.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and security reviews of infrastructure.
• Prepare and maintain monthly SOC dashboards, reports, metrics, alert volumes, SLAs and compliance KPIs.
• Monitor CCTV feeds and badge access systems, conducting physical security outreach to ensure facility compliance.
• Handle L1 client tickets for security products, including intake, categorization, basic troubleshooting and escalation.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, shift handovers and incident post‑mortems.
• Maintain SOPs/runbooks and contribute knowledge‑base articles for recurring issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+.
