Senior Aircraft Maintenance Professional

About the role

This position is responsible for performing and supervising maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations and inspections on aircraft and their components in compliance with Brazilian civil aviation regulations and Helibras quality standards. The role also supports technical innovation projects and acts as an Inspection Delegate when required.

Key responsibilities

• Execute maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations and inspections on aircraft and assemblies according to RBAC regulations and manufacturer manuals.
• Ensure all work complies with the Maintenance Organization Manual (MOM), Quality Control Manual (MCQ) and applicable aeronautical legislation.
• Supervise non‑qualified personnel performing maintenance tasks and guide junior mechanics and helpers.
• Approve return‑to‑service of aircraft and components, including major repairs and alterations, when holding the appropriate Airframe and Powerplant qualification.
• Record all services, approvals and releases using company‑defined forms and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide technical support for innovation activities and act as Inspection Delegate when designated.

Required profile

• Technical education in Aircraft Maintenance (MMAS) with solid experience on the Airbus Helicopters fleet.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant qualification and ability to approve return‑to‑service.
• Proficiency in Portuguese (written and spoken) and intermediate English.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel and training less‑experienced staff.
• Strong knowledge of civil aviation regulations and inspection methods.

• CHT certification in GMP and CEL
• CHT certification in AVI (desirable)
