Senior Global Category Manager

About the role

Givaudan is seeking a Senior Global Category Manager to lead sourcing strategies for high‑spend, business‑critical raw material categories. Reporting to the Head of Procurement RM T&W Beverages, you will operate with high autonomy across a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with the global procurement plan.
• Lead major RFQs, negotiate contracts globally, and manage supplier relationships.
• Identify and implement portfolio optimization opportunities, including cost‑reduction projects.
• Provide market analysis, risk‑management insights, and price forecasts for key commodities.
• Support sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with global sustainability strategy.
• Mentor and develop category managers through structured development plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
• Proven ability to manage complex, global supplier bases and drive cost‑optimization.
