Senior Incident Response Security Consultant (Remote)

About the role

The Senior Incident Response Security Consultant will deliver end‑to‑end incident response, threat hunting, forensic analysis and remediation services for high‑profile clients. Working remotely, you will help organisations detect, contain and recover from cyber incidents while providing tactical guidance and training.

Key responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements, including investigation, containment, remediation and crisis management.
• Perform forensic analysis of network traffic, malware, cloud environments, disk images and memory captures.
• Develop and execute automation scripts to accelerate response workflows.
• Collaborate with client technical teams, executive leadership and legal counsel to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Provide training and mentorship on incident response best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on incident response investigation experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in network forensics, malware triage, cloud forensics, or disk and memory forensics.
• Minimum 5 years of Linux/Unix operating‑system expertise.
• 4 years of automation and coding experience in Python.
• Ability to travel up to 30 % of the time.
• Mexican citizenship (as required by local labor law).
