Senior Legal Manager – Brazil

About the role

Flix is looking for a Senior Legal Manager to join its Legal Team in São Paulo. You will act as a trusted legal partner, supporting the company’s operations, growth and compliance across Brazil in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on civil, administrative, labour, consumer protection, data protection, transport regulation and contract management.
• Manage external counsel, oversee legal proceedings, disputes and litigation.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, vendors and partners.
• Collaborate with PR and Marketing to review campaigns, statements and advertising materials for regulatory and brand compliance, including Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies.
• Conduct legal research on emerging topics and develop proactive business‑oriented legal strategies.
• Prepare and submit authorization requests to ANTT for regular bus line operations.
• Support Customer Service on legal matters and assist Finance with vendor and commercial contracts.
• Handle corporate setup and governance matters in Brazil.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
• 5+ years of experience as an in‑house lawyer or at a law firm, focusing on civil, consumer and labour litigation.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian laws and regulations and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Proven experience managing a high volume of judicial and administrative proceedings.
• Experience liaising with external law firms and overseeing litigation strategies.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive, independent working style and ability to thrive in a global, cross‑functional team.
