Senior Market Distribution Planner

About the role

Hasbro is seeking a Senior Market Distribution Planner to lead product distribution planning across markets, ensuring high availability during peak selling periods while optimizing inventory and logistics costs. This role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and serves as a key link between local commercial teams and global supply planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Distribution Intelligence process, set minimum order quantities and translate demand forecasts into channel‑specific allocation plans.
• Own inventory policy at SKU and market level, manage projections, visibility, and develop liquidation strategies for post‑season obsolescence.
• Drive the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) cycle, aligning with sales, marketing, and global supply planning on production, imports, and constraints.
• Oversee in‑market inventory, customer allocation, purchase order management and ensure on‑time delivery during critical windows.
• Monitor and report KPIs such as fill rate, in‑stock performance, days of inventory, demand‑supply match, and shortage visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in supply chain, distribution or planning, preferably in highly seasonal industries (toys, retail, consumer goods, fashion).
• Proven track record managing demand peaks, inventory allocation and supply constraints.
• Experience with import operations, especially Asia to LATAM, is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis, modeling and simulations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
