Senior Platform Architect

About the role

Wizdaa is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to define and operate reliable, scalable cloud platforms across multiple LATAM locations. The role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and Site Reliability Engineering, driving automation, cost efficiency, and AI workload support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate multi‑tenant backend and AI infrastructure on Kubernetes (GKE) with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Create and maintain GitOps‑based deployment workflows using ArgoCD, including versioning, staged rollouts, automated releases, monitoring, and safe rollback strategies.
• Develop reusable services, APIs, and data pipelines that enable AI‑powered products and internal platform capabilities.
• Extend Terraform‑based infrastructure‑as‑code across projects, managing complex state, reusable modules, and CI‑driven plan/apply pipelines.
• Improve platform observability through metrics, logging, tracing, SLOs, alerting, and incident response practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure with production systems at scale.
• Proven track record of owning reliability for services, defining SLOs, conducting post‑mortems, and delivering measurable improvements.
• Deep expertise in Terraform, GitOps (ArgoCD or Flux), and Kubernetes operations in production.
• Strong background in at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) covering networking, compute, IAM, and storage.
