Senior Project Manager – Project Leadership

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead assigned projects, manage contribution margins, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective coordination of activities, resources, and stakeholders. This role is pivotal in delivering energy technology solutions that are safer, cleaner, and more efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer contact, handling technical and commercial issues, providing progress updates, and negotiating contractual variations.
• Collaborate with the Project Management team to identify and mitigate gaps during the Inquiry‑to‑Order (ITO) phase.
• Review proposal Terms & Conditions for compliance with Baker Hughes policies.
• Work with ITO and Sourcing teams to develop project budgets and clarify assumptions.
• Define execution strategies aligned with proposal plans.
• Partner with Risk Management and other departments to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Monitor project costs, profit margins, cash flow, and address payment issues.
• Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are applied by all parties.
• Maintain accurate project records and incorporate lessons learned into future proposals.
