Senior Project Manager – Refining & Petrochemical

About the role

Honeywell UOP is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale refining and petrochemical projects in Barueri, Brazil. You will act as the primary interface with customers and EPC partners, overseeing projects valued between US$100 M and US$400 M from concept through delivery of fully assembled modular units.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project teams throughout the full project life‑cycle, from initiation to close‑out.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust work plans, schedules, and staffing requirements.
• Review financial and performance data to track productivity, budget adherence, and goal progress.
• Lead client meetings, subcontractor coordination, and requirement gathering.
• Track and control project costs, ensuring compliance with budget constraints.
• Review design documents for accuracy and conformance.
• Manage change orders, shop drawing reviews, punch‑list items, and project close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in mechanical, civil, or chemical engineering environments.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Proven leadership in complex, multi‑dimensional customer interactions.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Experience working in international, multi‑site, multicultural settings.
