Senior React Native & React Engineer LATAM

About the role

We are seeking a highly senior engineer to lead frontend and mobile development across React, React Native, and Next.js. This is a high‑ownership, AI‑first position where you will design scalable systems and turn ambiguous product ideas into production‑ready applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the architecture of web and mobile applications, making independent decisions on scalability, performance and reliability.
• Build production‑grade applications using TypeScript, GraphQL APIs and modern React ecosystems.
• Define and enforce engineering standards for code quality, testing, responsiveness and developer experience.
• Leverage AI tools such as Cursor and Claude to accelerate research, planning, implementation and testing while maintaining full ownership.
• Translate vague product requirements into clear technical solutions and ensure high performance across platforms.
• Collaborate directly with clients to clarify requirements and deliver robust solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on development experience with a strong track record of delivering production web and mobile applications.
• Proven ability to make architecture decisions independently and lead technical direction.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Full‑time availability in a remote environment and ability to pass a background check.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
