Senior SDET – Automated Testing Lead for GovTech SaaS

About the role

Truelogic is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to build and lead an engineering team focused on expanding automated test coverage for a portfolio of more than 20 SaaS products in the GovTech sector. You will develop production‑quality automated tests, leverage AI tools to boost efficiency, and collaborate with product teams to improve system reliability and developer confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
• Increase test coverage and identify quality risks across existing applications.
• Use AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to accelerate test creation and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test failures across application, infrastructure, and data layers.
• Reduce flaky tests and enhance CI/CD pipeline stability.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve testability of production systems.
• Establish scalable testing standards, tools, and best practices across multiple products.

Required profile

• Strong programming skills in C#.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright.
• Solid understanding of testing concepts including mocking, test isolation, and test design.
• Excellent debugging abilities and a focus on quality.
