Senior Specialist, Legal Services

About the role

The Senior Specialist, Legal Services will support Mastercard’s legal team in Brazil, handling contract execution, legal analysis and operational matters across the payments business. The role offers exposure to a wide range of commercial and corporate issues while working closely with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and administer commercial agreements and related documentation.
• Conduct legal research, track issues and prepare summaries for business partners.
• Maintain legal trackers, templates and contract‑management records, including meeting minutes and committee agendas.
• Coordinate with internal business and legal teams to ensure smooth legal workflows.
• Assist senior lawyers on projects and initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
• Minimum 3 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably supporting commercial contracts.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to use AI tools for document management and research.
