Senior Web Developer – WordPress & Shopify

About the role

Search Atlas, a fast‑growing SaaS B2B company, is looking for a Senior Web Developer to build high‑performance WordPress and Shopify sites. You will work remotely, turning Figma prototypes into pixel‑perfect, responsive implementations while mentoring a team of developers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a development team, conduct code reviews, and model AI‑assisted workflows.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure web solutions using WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Define and enforce technical standards, especially around Figma hand‑offs and responsible AI tool usage.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate designs into clear technical roadmaps.
• Manage hosting, domain, and infrastructure (Kinsta, WPEngine, Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Squarespace) to ensure performance and uptime.
• Hands‑on development of custom WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and Elementor sites from concept to launch.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience building WordPress and Shopify sites.
• Strong ability to convert Figma designs into production‑ready code without extensive guidance.
• Team‑first mindset with proven mentorship experience.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and leveraging AI tools such as Claude Code daily.
