Service Manager ECSA – Brazil

About the role

Maersk Container Industry (MCI) is seeking a Service Manager for the South America East Coast, based in Brazil, to act as the technical ambassador for Star Cool and MCI products. The role combines hands‑on support, training, relationship management and commercial awareness across a complex market.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and service providers via phone, email and on‑site visits.
• Act as escalation point for complex technical issues and emergency support.
• Manage, develop and audit the Service Provider network to ensure compliance with MCI standards.
• Promote MCI/Star Cool products, support sales with technical expertise and deliver training sessions.
• Support warranty investigations, spare‑parts sales, parts recovery and market intelligence gathering.

Required profile

• Education and hands‑on experience in refrigeration, electrical or marine engineering, or as a Reefer Technician.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, electrical and electronic systems and experience servicing reefer containers.
• Commercial mindset with interest in market development and parts sales.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Brazil and the region, with occasional international travel.
