SOC Cyber Security Analyst – Global Team

About the role

We are looking for a SOC Cyber Security Analyst to join Orange Cyberdefense’s global security operations centre. You will work in a follow‑the‑sun model with teams in Brazil, France and Malaysia, detecting, investigating and defending against cyber‑attacks for a major account.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and triage alerts from SIEM, endpoint protection and network anomaly detection tools.
• Conduct in‑depth analysis of incidents and perform threat‑hunting investigations.
• Escalate relevant threats to customers and provide actionable advice.
• Detect anomalies and attack patterns using the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Support customers during security incidents and ensure effective defence.
• Develop and improve detection methods and reporting.
• Produce monthly status reports on customer environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a SOC or similar security role.
• Fluent English (advanced level).
• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Engineering or equivalent certifications/experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CySA+, CEH, OSCP, OSDA, Splunk Power, MS SC‑200, MS SC‑100 are a plus.
• Experience with penetration testing, incident detection, response and malware analysis is desirable.

• EDR/XDR tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender).
