Social Media Manager

About the role

FIFA is building a local subsidiary in Brazil to deliver the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, the first edition hosted in South America. As a Social Media Manager, you will join the Marketing, Brand and Promotion team to shape and execute the tournament’s social media presence, working closely with the Digital Marketing team in Zurich and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with tournament goals and target audiences.
• Create, curate, and publish engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and more.
• Maintain content calendars, schedule posts, and ensure brand voice consistency.
• Monitor trends, mentions, and conversations using social listening tools.
• Track and analyse performance with Google Analytics, Sprinklr, and native platform analytics.
• Prepare reports on engagement, reach, follower growth, and ROI, and optimise strategies accordingly.
• Plan, launch, and optimise paid social campaigns, adjusting targeting, creative, and budgets.
• Identify and collaborate with influencers, ambassadors, broadcasters, and partners to amplify reach.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media for large‑scale events or brands.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and a fan‑first approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively across international teams.
