Software Application Engineer (ADAS/AV)

About the role

Foretellix is seeking a Software Application Engineer to join its Application Engineering team. You will help customers deploy and integrate Foretellix verification and validation solutions for next‑generation ADAS and autonomous vehicle products.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy Foretellix solutions at customer sites, including installation, integration, training and ramp‑up.
• Provide remote and on‑site support while defining V&V strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers and R&D, translating customer challenges into product requirements.
• Collaborate with the sales team as a technical expert to deliver demos, presentations and support product evaluations.
• Create application notes, methodology documents, technical presentations and customer trainings as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of industry experience, preferably in the ADAS/AV domain.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics or related fields.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and a collaborative, professional attitude.

Required skills

• Object‑oriented programming, software testing and debugging.
• Experience with ADAS/AV verification and validation, testing and simulation.
• Familiarity with ADAS/AV simulators such as Carla, Sumo, Carmaker or Vires.
• Knowledge of advanced verification languages and methodologies (Specman/e, SystemVerilog UVM, Perspec PSS, coverage‑driven verification).
